Bryan Balsiger (SUI) and Dubai du Bois Pinchet (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Andiamo) were the best in Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Longines Grand Prix of Ascona presented by Banca Stato, making it a home win.
No less than twelve of the 34 horse-and-rider combinations in the class made it to the jump-off, where seven repeated their clear rounds with Balsiger being the fastest with a time of 45.22 seconds in the jump-off.
Francesco Correddu (ITA) followed as runner-up with Necofix (Eco del Castegno x Avenir), after stopping the clock on 45.85 seconds. Gudrun Patteet (BEL) and Sea Coast Donna Z (Diamant de Semilly x C Indoctro) took the third place with a time of 47.33 seconds in the jump-off, while Leon Thijssen (NED) placed fourth with For President (Numero Uno x Nimmerdor) and Pia Reich (GER) fifth with PB Chaconie (Chacco-Blue x Kannan).
