Denis Nielsen (GER) and DSP Cashmoaker (Calido I x Lafitte) ended a great weekend in Dortmund with a home win in the CSI4* 1,50m Grand Prix.
A total of 45 horse-and-rider combinations lined up for the class, and eleven of them qualified for the jump-off. The shortened course consisted of several long lines where the riders could let their horses stretch out, however high speed resulted in several faults. In the end, only three riders cleared the jump-off course and the fastest of them was Denis Nielsen with the grey stallion DSP Cashmoaker. Marc Houtzager (NED) with Sterrehof’s Edinus (Padinus x Columbus) ended as runner-up, almost half a second behind Nielsen.
Markus Renzel (GER) with Stella 981 (Stakkatol x I Need You) took the third place, and was followed by Markus Brinkmann (GER) with Pikeur Dylon (Diamant de Semilly x Carry) that ended the jump-off with one time fault.
Both Marco Kutscher (GER) with Charco (Chin Quin x unknown) and Max Kühner (AUT) with Cielito Lindo 2 (Clarimo x Stauffenberg) had a faster time than the winner Nielsen, but with four faults they had to settle for 5th and 6th.
