Friday's biggest class at the CSI3* event in Dortmund – the 1.50 Preis von Nordrhein-Westfalen – was dominated by German riders, with seven out of the eight best being from the host country. The class was won by Denis Nielsen on Cashmoaker (Calido I x Lafitte), with a clear round and a time of 34.07 in the jump-off. In second place followed Jana Wargers on Lausejunge (Ludwigs As x Cornet Obolensky), slightly behind on the time at 36.35 seconds. Third place went to the only foreign rider in the top eight: Austria's Julia Kayser on Sterrehof's Cayetano (Caretano Z x Cor De La Bruyere).
