Two home riders made it a great night for the crowds at CSI4* Jumping International de Liège, as Constant Van Paesschen (BEL) took the top honours in Saturday's 1.50m feature class Prix de la ville de Liège followed by Christophe Vanderhasselt (BEL) in second place.
With the 10-year-old stallion Vendetta Treize (Diamant de Semilly x Eiger I), Van Paesschen recorded yet another big win after blazing around to a time of 62.84 seconds. For Vanderhasselt and Cana van de Blom (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Kannan), the clock showed 64.04 seconds. Into third came German rider Hans-Dieter Dreher and Twenty Clary (Calvaro F.C. x Muguet du Manoir) with a time of 64.09, followed by two more Belgian riders in fourth and fifth: Dominique Hendrickx and Koen Vereecke.
