Thursday's biggest win at the Chantilly Classic 2024 in France went to Edouard Schmitz (SUI) and the 12-year-old Gamin van'T Naastveldhof (Chacco Chacco x Toulon) as the pair topped the CSI4* 1.50m Prix Barré Logistique.
Delivering a double clear in a time of 32.59 seconds, the Swiss rider was the fastest in a jump-off between twelve horse-and-rider-combinations, leaving the host nation's Nina Mallevaey (FRA) and Cartier SR (Canturenter x San Patrignano Cassini) in the runner-up spot in 33.47.
After placing second in Wednesday's CSI4* 1.50m Prix Audevard, Amanda Slagter (NED) and Cornet Blue PS (Chacco-Blue x Cornet's Stern) took another top placing when slotting into third with their time of 34.17. Philippe Rozier (FRA) and Dirty Sweet (Cornet Obolensky x Lavillon) finished fourth in 34.48 and Laura Klaphake (GER) fifth in 34.99 aboard Quin 13 (Verdi TN x San Patrignano Corrado).
