Germany's Jana Wargers and the 14-year-old mare Dorette (Dollar du Murier x Fighting Alpha 3) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix presented by Patrick Döller Horse Scouting at Sentower Park in Belgium.
Eight of the fifty horse-and-rider combinations that had qualified for the Grand Prix made it through to the jump-off after clearing the first-round track, and against the clock it was Wargers who was the fastest with a time of 34.12 seconds – 0.42 ahead of runners-up Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and the 10-year-old mare Deesse de Coquerie (Consul Dl Vie Z*Gfe x Papillon Rouge*Normandie).
Emanuele Camilli (ITA) and Odense Odeveld (Diamant de Semilly x Querlybet Hero) took the third place after stopping the clock on 36.81 seconds in the jump-off, followed by Mans Thijssen (NED and Hello (Alano x Nabab de Reve) in fourth with a time of 38.30. With one down in 35.31, Mohammed Ghanem Al Hajri (UAE) and G's Fabian (Gaillard de La Pomme x Lovis Corinth) completed the top five.
