Week two at the 2026-edition of Andalucía Sunshine Tour came to an end on Sunday with José Maria Larocca Jr. (ARG) and the 11-year-old stallion Chris (Contendro I x Argentinus) taking their second Grand Prix victory of the season in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain.
Just like during week one, the two topped Sunday’s CSI4* Grand Prix, this week presented by Range Rover C. De Salamanca. Stopping the clock on 34.77 in a jump-off of eight, they took the top honours ahead of Mathieu Billot (FRA) and Heartlove de Pleville (Carinjo x Kannan) in second in 38.1, while Roger Yves Bost (FRA) aboard Giorgio de la Batia (Ideal de la Loge x Mr Blue) completed the podium in third in 38.23.
Only the top four delivered a double clear, with Roy van Beek (BEL) and Cavoiro-H OLD (Casallco x Calido I) finishing fourth in 40.21, while a fence down in 35.82 left Riccardo Pisani (ITA) and Chacco’s Lawito PS (Chacco-Blue x Lawito) to fifth place in the end.
