Jules Van Hoydonck (BEL) and the 13-year-old mare Minte vd Bisschop (Plot Blue x Parco) won Friday’s CSI4* 1.50m Prix M Comme Mutuelle in Rouen, France. As the only clear in a jump-off of twelve, Van Hoydonck took the top honours ahead of a French trio that followed in second, third and fourth.
After winning Thursday's CSI4* 1.50m Prix Carno Avocats, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and the 11-year-old gelding Easy Up de Grandry (Jarnac x For Pleasure) had to settle for second after picking up four penalties in the jump-off while clocking the fastest time of the competition – 34.72 seconds. His compatriots Julien Anquetin on Beau du Laubry Z (Bisquet Balou C x Nabab de Reve) and Alexis Lheureux aboard For Ever de Beaumont (Cornet Obolensky x Portofino 46 La Silla) followed in third and fourth, while Japan’s Eiken Sato with Quick Boy Jmen (Quiram Jmen x Canavaro Jmen) rounded out the top five.
