The last day of CSI4* La Coruna started with rain, but the sun was shining during the Grand Prix Caixabank – Tyco Trophy, the most important class of the show with more than 90.000 € in prize money.

The 1.60 course designed by Javier Trenor had a total of 13 fences and 16 jumps, and the first clear round did not arrive until rider number 21, courtesy of Netherland's Henk van de Pol with Willink (Twister x Landsieger). Fourty riders competed in the class and only five of them moved on to the jump-off.

French rider Julien Epaillard, who has been unbeatable in this 2015 edition of the event, ended as the winner of the Grand Prix with a clear jump-off in 48.80 seconds on the lovely Cristallo A LM (Casall x Corofino).

Swiss rider Nadja Peter Steiner with Celeste 26 (Casall x Landgraf I) went for it but could not reduce the time of the French rider, finishing in second place. Henk van de Pol completed the podium, while Alberto Michan ended fourth and Adeline Hecart fifth.
