Julien Gonin (FRA) and the 13-year-old mare Valou du Lys (Calvaro F.C. x Galoubet A) won Sunday's CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix presented by Indexia at Hubside Jumping Grimaud in St. Tropez, France.
Ten horse-and-rider-combinations out of the 43 at start cleared the first-round track and joined the deciding jump-off, where Gonin stopped the clock on 40.45 – taking home the win with more than one second down to runner-up Billy Twomey (IRL) on Chat Botte E.D (Casall x Darco). Edward Levy (FRA) and Uno de Cerisy (Open Up Semilly x Siego) placed third with a time of 43.20, while the fourth place went to Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) on Gravity LCH (Andiamo Z x Cardento) and fifth to Laura Kraut (FRA) on Calgary Tame (Old Chap Tame x Kashmir van'T Schuttershof).
