Kevin Jochems (NED) and the 12-year-old stallion Casillas van de Helle (Casall x San Patrignano Corrado) won Saturday’s CSI4* 1.50m Amadeus Masters presented by Schmidt Saubere Arbeit Klare Lösung in Salzburg, Austria.
With a time of 63.61 seconds, the Dutch rider took the win ahead of the host nation’s own Katharina Rhomberg and Colestus Cambridge (Colestus x Cambridge) with 0.54 seconds separating the two in this speed class counting for the Longines Ranking Group D that had a total of 36 horse-and-rider combinations lined up.
Millie Allen (GBR) and Clearround Il Mondo Z (Comme Il Faut x Clearway) placed third after clocking a time of 64.18 seconds, followed by Michael Jung (GER) and Fischer Duopower (Namelus R x Sydney) in fourth in 64.39 and Hugo Kogelnig (FIN) aboard Vermont 2 (Valentino x Fly High) in fifth in 64.62.
