It was Portugal's Luciana Diniz that won the CSI5* Grand Prix at the HH the Emir of Qatar Sword International Showjumping Festival in Doha.

Aboard the 12-year-old mare Fit for Fun 13 (For Pleasure x Fabriano), Diniz went on to the jump-off against six other riders. With a time of 33.22 seconds, the pair took yet another big win. Luciana's nearest challenger was Faleh Suwead Al Ajami from Qatar riding the 13-year-old gelding Come Soon (Come On x Landfriese II), and the two finished three seconds behind to settle for runner-up position.

Third was the French rider Fredric David on the 12-year-old Equador van't Roosakker (Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin) 0.41 seconds adrift of Faleh Suwead Al Ajami's time. Fourth went to yesterday's winner Shk. Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani on Anyway II (No Limit X Farmer), and fifth to Germany's Philipp Weishaupt on Liberty Son 2 (Clooney x Lord Z) both with four faults in the jump-off.
