After winning Friday’s CSI2* 1.40m at Hubside Jumping Grimaud, Marc Dilasser (FRA) continued with taking the top honours in Saturday’s biggest class – the CSI4* 1.50m. Together with Cliffton Bélestat (Clinton x Halando II V/D Watering), Dilasser crossed the finish line in 60.49 seconds. Marcus Ehning (GER) and Funky Fred (For Pleasure x Pilot) took the runner-up position – 0.84 seconds slower than Dilasser.

“I’m very happy for my horse Cliffton Bélestat, his owner Sandy Tribote from Haras de Bélesbat and for my team,” Dilasser said after his win. “Cliffton is my old companion, I bought him at the end of his eight year and he is thirteen now. Speed is his thing, and we have this in common as I also like to go fast.”

Third place went to Mark Mcauley (IRL) with Velina de Farjonniere (Toulon x Mr Blue), followed by Laura Kraut (USA) with Constable II (Harley x Lupicor) in fourth and Gregory Wathelet (BEL) with Picobello Full House Ter Linden Z (Forever d’Arco Ter Linden x Cento) in fifth.

Also the CSI4* 1.45m class earlier in the day was won by a home rider as Patrice Delaveau (FRA) and Bugs Bunny d’Authuit Hdc (Quick Star x Quaprice Boimargot Quincy) finished the jump-off in 36.31 seconds. Thierry Rozier (FRA) with Star (Singulord Jot, Oes x Caretino) followed in second after stopping the clock at 36.51. Third place went to Christian Ahlmann (GER) Solid Gold Z (Stakkato Gold x Calvin Z), fourth place to Edward Levy (FRA) with Rebeca LS (Rebozo La Silla x Cassini I) and fifth place to Roger Yves Bost (FRA) with Castleforbes Talitha (Cardenio x Baloubet du Rouet).
