This week, the team at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, kicked off their 2020 autumn edition.

On Thursday, it was Great Britain’s Matthew Sampson who went off with the victory in the biggest class of the day – the CSI3* 1.45m counting for the Longines Ranking, jumped in the main grass ring.

Sampson rode Curraghgraigue Obos Flight (Obos Quality x Errigal Flight) to the win, with a time of 66.93 seconds – beating Germany’s David Will and Carasina HD (Carrico x San Patrignano Cassini) that stopped the clock in 67.84 seconds. American rider Julie Welles followed in third with Ambra (Quintender x Grandeur) finishing in 67.99 sec, while her compatriot Laura Kraut ended fourth with Casco Bay (Quaprice Bois Margot x Flipper d’Elle) after crossing the finish line in 68.32 seconds.
