At the Andalucía Sunshine Tour, Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m Geolastic Small Grand Prix – which counted for the Longines Ranking – went to USA's Michael Hughes and the 14-year-old Eclatant (Berlin x Heartbreaker). With a time of 40.37 seconds in the jump-off, Hughes was only 0.01 seconds faster than Germany's Jana Wargers and Clash Royale (Clarimo x Wellenspiel).

Norway's Victoria Gulliksen and Thuur Z (Tyson x Flipper d'Elle) finished third with a time of 41.88, while Slovenia's Gaj Riossa on Entertainer (Warrant x Corland) took fourth and Italy's Francesco Turturiello on Quite Balou (Quite Capitol x Baloubet du Rouet) fifth.

In the CSI4* 1.50m Medium Tour, Switzerland's Martin Fuchs and the 9-year-old mare Che Tipa (Casero della Caccia x Ogano Sitte) were the best. With a time of 28.68 in the second phase, only 0.07 seconds separated Fuchs from Dutch rider Sanne Thijssen – the winner of Friday's CSI4* 1.50m Big Tour – who today was riding Chuck 50 (Clarimo x Corofino).

The third place went to Ireland's Alexander Butler and Pico (Chekhov Pzk x Carrolls Flight) who finished in 28.94 seconds, followed by Great Britain's James Wilson on Quality Time of Picobello Z (Querlybet Hero x Nabab de Reve) in fourth and Dutch rider Henk van de Pol on B Captain Norman (Bolero Ex Cayman x Pikachu de Muze) in fifth.
