Oliver Lazarus (RSA) and Conbalthago PS (Contendros 2 x Baloubet du Rouet) won Sunday’s CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix in Gijon, Spain.
Only the top three delivered a double clear, with Lazarus and Conbalthago PS taking the win with a time of 43.32 ahead of Emanuele Camilli (ITA) and Chacco’s Girlstar (Chacco-Blue x Sandro Boy) in second in 44.05. As the last pair in for round two, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) and Iron Dames Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet x Diamant de Semilly) slotted into third in 44.96, while a fence down in 44.99 left Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Fringan de Vesquerie (Mylord Carthago x Diamant de Semilly) to fourth. The host nation’s Imma Roquet Autonell aboard Irivola Del Maset (Indret Del Maset x Quidam de Revel) completed the top five.
