Friday's biggest win at CSI4* Jumping International Bourg-en-Bresse, France, went to Reynald Angot (FRA) on Untouchable Gips HDC (Portofino 46* La Silla x Socrate de Chivre HN), who topped the 1.50m Grand Bourg Agglomération.
A total of 67 horse-and-rider combinations started in Friday's feature class, with 22 of them delivering a clear and qualifiying for the deciding jump-off. Six of them decided to withdraw, leaving it to be a jump-off between eleven French riders, three Belgians, one Irish and one Liechtensteiner.
While Angot took home the win with a time of 37.09 seconds, Belgium's Gregory Wathelet on Berline Du Maillet Z (Berlin x Action-Breaker) slotted in between the French top five, when stopping the clock on 37.49. Gregory Rulquin (FRA) on Verdi des Forets (Verdi TN x Richebourg) took the third place, while the fourth spot went to Juliette Faligot (FRA) on Arqana de Riverland (Cornet Obolensky x Diamant de Semilly) and fifth to Cedric Hurel (FRA) on Fantasio Floreval Z (Florian de La Vie x Clinton).
