Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and the 10-year-old gelding Mr. Tac (Non Stop x Toulon) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix de la Ville Bourg-en-Bresse at Jumping International Bourg-en-Bresse, France.
Seven out of the 50 horse-and-rider combinations at start cleared their way into the deciding jump-off, where Bettendorf was the quickest when stopping the clock at 33.29 seconds. Juliette Faligot (FRA) on Arqana de Riverland (Cornet Obolensky x Diamant de Semilly) had to settle for the runner-up position after a time of 34.27 seconds, while Benoit Cernin (FRA) on Deuxcatsix d'Eglefin (Vigo Cece x Bamako de Muze) placed third after crossing the finish line in 34.64.
Dominique Hendrickx (BEL) and Floris TN (Quality Time x Vancouver) placed fourth with a time of 35.31, and with the last clear in the jump-off, while fifth went to Gudrun Patteet (BEL) on Sea Coast Guinness (Nabab de Reve x Katell) with four faults against the clock.
