Germany’s Richard Vogel and the 11-year-old Phenyo van het Keysersbos (Corydon van T&L x Heartbreaker) won Saturday’s CSI5* 1.55m Cathay Cargo Reach for the Skies Stakes at the 2026-edition of the Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show in Hong Kong.
While the best ten horse-and-rider combinations from round one proceded to round two, only the top three delivered a double clear in the end, with Vogel and Phenyo taking the win ahead of Zascha Nygaard (DEN) and Com’On Miss Ogano Sit (Ogano Sitte x Cornet’s Stern) in second and Simon Delestre (FRA) aboard Gatsby du Tillard (President x Diamant de Semilly) in third.
Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) and Cous Cous 3 (Cachas x Lasino) finished fourth, followed by Mel Thijssen (NED) aboard Juice (Tyson x Carabole) in fifth – both with a fence down in the second round.
The second CSI5* class of the day, the 1.50m Longines Stakes went to Kevin Staut (FRA) and Kannonqulan (Kannan x Quantum). With a time of 54.34, Staut took the top honours followed by Richard Vogel (GER) and Cloudio (Casall x San Patrignano Cassini) in second and Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen (NOR) aboard Equine America Harwich VDL (Arezzo VDL x Darco) in third.
