Richard Vogel (GER) claimed his third victory of the weekend at The Dutch Masters 2026 when topping the CSI5* 1.50m Borek Prize with Phenyo van het Keysersbos (Corydon van T&L x Heartbreaker) on Sunday.
The best twelve horse-and-rider combinations from the first round returned for the decisive winning round, where Vogel managed to make the difference with Phenyo van het Keysersbos.
"This was already Phenyo's fourth victory this year," Vogel said afterwards. "We've ridden three competitions and won four times, that's obviously a very nice statistic. I'm very happy that he's in our team. He's fast, smart, and always motivated for every test."
As the last starter, Vogel was able to analyze the times of his competitors. "I saw that the leading time was very fast, so I knew I had to give everything. Fortunately, it worked out well."
Kevin Staut (FRA) finished second with Kannonqulan (Kannan x Quantum), while Hessel Hoekstra (NED) with VDL Mindset ES (Aganix du Seigneur x Kannan) was the best Dutch rider in third place. Frank Schuttert (NED) with Luckey SR Z (L’Arc de Triomphe x Quick Star) and Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) with Jesther (Cardento 933 x Vink Guidam) also remained faultless in the winning round, completing the top five.
