The CSI5* 1.60m €1,000,000.00 Rolex Grand Prix at The Dutch Masters 2026 – the first Major of the year in the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping – became a true demonstration of top-level sport on Sunday afternoon in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
Germany’s Richard Vogel claimed the top prize with his phenomenal stallion United Touch S (Untouched x Lux Z), becoming the new Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping Live Contender. Vogel, a Rolex Testimonee, secured a Rolex Major for the second time in his career, having also topped the Rolex Grand Prix of Geneva in 2023.
Course designer Louis Konickx (NED) had created a technical course where precision was key. In the end, eleven horse-and-rider combinations qualified for a jump-off, a thrilling finale that kept the audience at the edge of their seats.
In the jump-off, Vogel once again showcased the exceptional qualities of United Touch S. With his enormous stride and power, the stallion flew through the shortened course. “Winning a Rolex Major is incredibly special,” Vogel said afterwards. “It’s one of the most important competitions of the year and the atmosphere here at The Dutch Masters is always fantastic. United Touch S is an incredible horse. He has such a huge stride and so much power, that makes my job a lot easier.”
Belgium’s Thibeau Spits delivered a quick jump-off with his eleven-year-old stallion Impress-K van ’t Kattenheye Z (Indoktro K van’t Kattenheye x Vagabond de La Pomme) to finish second. “I was inspired by Richard’s round,” Spits laughed. “Impress has an enormous stride and felt fantastic today. I’m really incredibly happy and proud.”
Pieter Devos (BEL) and Casual DV Z (Cornet Obolensky x Cicero Z) jumped to third place, while the 2022 double World Champion Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) finished fourth with Qasirah van de Reistenhoek (Emerald x Kannan), followed by Rolex Testimonee Martin Fuchs (SUI) with L&L Lorde (Clyde LVB Z x Elan de la Cour) in fifth.
