Great Britain’s Robert Murphy and the 13-year-old mare Hulde G (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Warrant) won Sunday’s CSI4* 1.60m Amadeus Grand Prix of Salzburg in Austria.
In a jump-off between four horse-and-rider combinations, Murphy and Hulde G delivered the winning performance, stopping the clock on 42.88. Tamás Mráz (HUN) with Viva Cent (Vivant x Centadel) took the runner-up spot with a time of 46.48, while Ronnie Healy (RSA) and Cornet’s Mandarino (Cornet Session x Mill Reef VDL) placed third in 47.09.
Only the top three delivered a double clear; Michael Greeve (NED) and Commissar Pezi (Commissario x Böckmann’s Lord Pezi) finished fourth after picking up four penalties in a time of 44.96 in the jump-off, while the fastest four-faulter from round one, the host nation’s Felix Koller with Cossinelle (Cascadello x Quebec), finished fifth.
