Friday's feature class at the CSI4* Mevisto Amadeus Horse Indoors event in Salzburg, was won by Robert Vos and Carat (Cardento x Krevad). Aboard the 15-year-old gelding, the Dutch rider produced the fastest round of the day when stopping the clock on 62.36 seconds to take home the first prize against no less than fifty other riders.
The 1.50 Prize of Firma Georg Pappas Automobil GmbH was the first qualifier for Sunday's Grand Prix, and saw a total of nine clear rounds. Runner-up was Germany's Felix Hassmann on Horse Gym's Balzaci (Balou du Rouet x Landadel), who finished on 63.29 seconds while third place went to Belgium's Francois Mathy Jr. on Falco van de Clehoeve (Quickfeuer van Koekshof x Fellini) who stopped the clock on 63.87 seconds.
