Sanne Thijssen (NED) and the 18-year-old Con Quidam RB (Quinar Z x Cardino 5) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix in Gijón, Spain, besting a field of 41 horse-and-rider combinations.

With a time of 48.78 seconds in the jump-off, Thijssen and Con Quidam RB took the win ahead of Luciana Diniz (BRA) and Vertigo du Desert (Mylord Carthago x Robin Z) in second in 49.20, while Henk van de Pol (NED) and B Captain Norman (Bolero x Pikachu de Muze) placed third after stopping the clock on 52.62. Bertram Allen (IRL) and Caprisco (Cole Porter x Arpeggio) finished fourth, followed by Jesus Garmendia Echevarria (ESP) and Callias (Companiero x Casco) in fifth.
