Sanne Thijssen took one of her biggest victories to date when she jumped to the top of the CSI4* Grand Prix of Dortmund aboard the 11-year-old stallion Con Quidam Rb (Quinar x Cardino).
The only 18-year-old Dutch rider could drive home with a new car after leaving a field of 49 other riders behind her. Only six riders made it to the jump-off in this 1.60m Grand Prix, also serving as the final of the Masters League. Against the clock only two could repeat their clean sheets from round one, and Thijssen was by far the fastest beating Ireland's Denis Lynch on Van Helsing (Valentino x Stakkato) by three seconds. Germany's own Christian Kukuk took the third place, with one down in the jump-off aboard Colestus (Cornet Obolensky x Stakkato) while Belgium's Pieter Clemens finished fourth and Dutch rider Frank Schuttert fifth.
