Shane Breen (IRL) ended 2018 in the best possible way when winning the CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix in Liverpool presented by Theraplate UK on New Year’s Eve. The class went over two rounds, and Breen produced one of only three double clears. Riding Golden Hawk (Vigo d’Arsouilles Stx x Chin Chin), Breen ended the second round in 38,86.

Harriet Nuttall (GBR) and Galway Bay Jed (Romanov x Lux) followed in second after stopping the clock at 40,52 seconds. Third place went to Nuttall’s compatriot William Funnell with Billy Diamo (Cevin Z x Andiamo).

Conor Swail (IRL) was the fastest rider of the class, but with four faults he had to settle for fourth place with Flower (Bon Ami x Randel Z). Fifth place went to Holly Smith (GBR) with Hearts Destiny (Heart Throb x Rabino).
