France's Simon Delestre and the 11-year-old stallion Tinka's Hero Z (Tinka's Boy x Caretino) won Saturday night's CSI5* 1.50m over two rounds at the Brussels Stephex Masters.
Twelve horse-and-rider-combinations from the 35 starters in round one returned for the second round, where Delestre was the fastest. With a double clear result in a time of 41.16 seconds, the former world number one took the win, leaving Belgium's Wilm Vermeir on Joyride S (Toulon x Pachat II) to runner-up position – with only 0.16 seconds separating the two. USA's Jessica Springsteen andHungry Heart (Baltimore 1178 x Loucaibo) took the third place after stopping the clock at 42.34 seconds, while Belgium's Jos Verlooy finished fourth on Nixon van'T Meulenhof (Denzel van'T Meulenhof x Carthago) and Latvia's Kristnaps Neretnieks fifth on Quintar (Quintero x Con Air 7).
