Gianni Govoni won the four-horse jump-off in the CSI3* 1.50 Grand Prix in San Giovanni after two clear rounds with Antonio (Oklund x AES Dick Z). The Italian rider was only 0,6 seconds faster than German runners-up Marcel Marschall and Utopia 48 (Concas x Chambertin) around the 1.50 track.

Netherland's Gerco Schröder and Glock’s Lausejunge (Ludwigs AS x Cornet Obolensky) crossed the finish line more than two seconds after Govoni, but as the last combination to produce two clear rounds they secured third place ahead of their compatriot Gert Jan Bruggink on Conelly 2 (Conelly Z x Jalisco B) who finished fourth with four faults.
