The Andalucía Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, is in its last week of competition and on Saturday Dominique Hendrickx (BEL) took his third big win at the tour when topping the CSI4* 1.50m Diputación de Cádiz Trophy with Floris TN (Quality Time TN x Vancouver).

There were 79 competitors in this Grand Prix qualifier set in the David Broome arena, and 17 jumped clear in the first round to move forward to the jump-off where Hendrickx was the fastest when stopping the clock at 39.02 seconds. Hot on his heels was Marcus Westergren (SWE) – who won Thursday’s 1.50m class – this time riding Hurry Up G (Bernini x Berlin) to a time of 39.13 seconds. Ellen Whitaker (GBR) followed in third with Spacecake (Stakkatol x Kannan) after crossing the finish line in 40.66 seconds, while Penelope Leprevost (FRA) with GFE Candy de Nantuel (Luidam x Diamant de Semilly) finished fourth and Tina Lund (DEN) fifth with Carallo (San Patrignano Corrado x Con Air).

In the Medium Tour 1.45m, which also counted for the Longines Ranking, Bruce Goodin (NZL) and Backatorps Danny V (Quasimodo Z x Lupicor) took yet another win in the HIckstead arena. Goodin stopped the clock at 39.06 seconds, with Michael Pender (IRL) and Nando Quality (Montender x Clarence I) coming in behind in 40.16 seconds.
