Dominique Hendrickx (BEL) and Vintadge de la Roque (Kannan x Galoubet A) were the best horse-and-rider combination in Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m Pavo Small Grand Prix at the Andalucia Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain.
Nearly eighty pairs had lined up for the Pavo Small Grand Prix, and fourteen of them managed to deliver clear rounds to move on to the jump-off where Hendrickx was the fastest with the 13-year-old gelding when stopping the clock on 37.32 seconds. Hendrickx's compatriot Gilles Thomas followed as the runner-up, with a time of 39.08 seconds aboard Jetric van Beek Z (Jivago d'Arsouilles x Vagabond de la Pomme). Adir Dias De Abreu (POR) took the third place with a time of 40.33 seconds with Tashmir Z (Toulon x Kashmir van Schuttershof), while fourth went to Cecilie Tofte (DEN) on Happiness (Phin-Phin x For Germany RD) and fifth to Carolina Aresu Garcia Obregon (ESP) on Criquet de l'Isle (Tibet Tame x Grain de Soleil).
