Titouan Schumacher (FRA) and Atome Z (Amadeus Z*Brimbelles x Toulon) topped Sunday's CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix in Vilamoura, Portugal.
A total of 44 horse-and-rider combinations had lined up for the class, and ten of them jumped clear to move on to the jump-off where Schumacher and the 14-year-old gelding were the fastest with a time of 35.96 seconds. Guy Williams (GBR) followed in runner-up position with Rouge de Ravel (Ultimo Van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) after stopping the clock at 36.88 seconds, while third place went to Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA) on Cochello (Casall x Cartani 4) with a time of 37.00. Alexander Kumps (BEL) finished fourth with Luigi van de Kornelishoeve (Carabas Vd Wateringhoeve x Capital) in 39.42 seconds and Mel Thijssen (NED) fifth with Florida Balia NL (Bustique x Lux Z) in 39.71 seconds.
