At the Vilamoura Champions Tour in Portugal, Titouan Schumacher (FRA) and Atome Z (Amadeus Z*Brimbelles x Toulon) went off with the victory in Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix presented by Ashford Farm.
Seven of the 49 horse-and-rider combinations jumped clear over the first-round track to qualify for the jump-off, where Schumacher and his 13-year-old gelding were the fastest when stopping the clock at 39.22 seconds. David Simpson (IRL) and Foudre F (Namelus R x Cavalier) followed in 39.98 seconds to take the runner-up position, while third place went to Francisco José Mesquita Musa (BRA) and Alea Imperio Egipcio (Mylord Carthago*HN x Allegreto) with a time of 41.57 seconds. Two British lady riders followed with four faults each in the jump-off, Laura Renwick finished fourth with Dublin V (Vigaro x Calvados x Sable Rose) after recording the fastest time of the day and Emily Moffitt was fifth with Winning Good (Winningmood x Sir Corland).
