Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and the 10-year-old gelding Mr Tac (Non Stop x Toulon) were unbeatable in Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix at Hubside Jumping Grimaud, France.
As one of fourteen horse-and-rider combinations in the jump-off, Bettendorf and Mr Tac stopped the clock at 39.47, a time only Roger Yves Bost (FRA) and the 11-year-old mare Ballerine du Vilpion (Baloubet du Rouet x Quidam de Revel) came close to when settling for the runner-up position 0.43 seconds behind the winners.
The third place went to Wilma Hellström (SWE) and Cicci BJN (Ci Ci Senjor Ask x Tornesch) with a time of 40.36 seconds, while Cedric Hurel (FRA) placed fourth with Fantasio Floreval Z (Florian de La Vie x Clinton) and Steve Guerdat (SUI) fifth with Is-MInka) Mylord Carthago*HN x Flyinge Quite Easy 958).
