The CSI5* Tropicana Derby in Dinard saw another win for Belgium's Wilm Vermeir, this time riding the 8-year-old stallion DM Jacqmotte (Toulon x Indoctro).
The Derby counted nine riders on the startlist, but none of them were able to end on a zero-penalty score. Vermeir came clostest with two time penalties, and the time 172.46 seconds.
Second place went to home rider Louis Bouhana, and the 11-year-old gelding Sweet Phir (Quercus du Maury x Clown du Chesnay) in their first Derby, with a total of five time faults.
Philippe Rozier (FRA) was the third rider on the podium. Aboard Rêveur de Kergane (Hornet Rose x Elan de la Cour), Rozier finished on seven faults.
