The inaugural Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show at AsiaWorld Expo concluded on Sunday with the CSI5* 1.60m Longines Grand Prix.
Counting for the Longines Rankings Group AA, Sunday’s Grand Prix saw 21 horse-and-rider combinations line up for the challenge set by Louis Konickx (NED).
With a time of 31.68 in the jump-off of nine, Denmark’s Zascha Nygaard Lill and the 10-year-old gelding Com’on Stanley (Stakkato x Calido I) took the win ahead of Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Chadora Lady (Chacco-Blue x Nintender) in second in 31.71, while Richard Vogel (GER) and Cloudio (Casall x San Patrignano Cassini) rounded up the podium in third when the clock stopped on 32.24 for the current world number eight.
Yuri Mansur (BRA) and QH Alfons Santo Antonio (Aromats x False Pass) finished fourth in 32.61, followed by Max Kühner (AUT) and EIC Julius Caesar (Couleur Rubin x Cancara) in fifth in 33.39.
