First she won the Volvo Trophy, then she went to the top in the Massimo Dutti Trophy: Laura Renwick had a good Friday at the LGCT in Madrid.

Riding the 10-year-old Bintang II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando), the British rider was the fastest one in the second phase in this 1.50 competition stopping the clock at 26.04 seconds. No less than 24 out of the 49 combinations in the class were double clear, and it was Belgium's Oliver Philippaerts on H&M Challenge v. Begijnakker (Chellano Z x Palestro v. Begijnakker) that made it closest to Renwick crossing the finish line on 26.19 seconds. In third followed French rider Kevin Staut on Ayade de Septon et HDC (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Belle d''Avril du Mazy), in 26.27 seconds.

Belgium's Jos Verlooy took fourth place and Germany's Christian Ahlmann fifth place.
