Stopping the clock on 59.77, the former world number one took the win ahead of Richard Vogel (GER) and Churchill 48 (Cassito x Colman) in second in 60.12 seconds, while Sophie Hinners (GER) and Ghia Pe (Gem of India x Laissez Faire) placed third in 61.62 seconds, followed by John Whitaker (GBR) and Sharid (Toulon x Vancouleurs) in fourth in 62.54 and Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) aboard Elwikke (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Quick Star) in fifth in 63.91.
“Olga is such a competitive horse, I really have fun riding her," Delestre said in a press release from Longines Global Champions Tour. "I can take the first distance off every turn, and with such a lovely course built by Uliano Vezzani, this show couldn’t have started better.”
