The USA's Aaron Vale and the 12-year-old gelding Gray’s Inn (Cannavaro x Oscar) won Saturday’s CSIO5* 1.50m presented by City and Canton of St. Gallen at the 2026-edition of Longines CSIO St. Gallen in Switzerland.
Aboard Gray's Inn, Vale produced a clear round in a time of 88.91 seconds, taking the win in a competition judged as a Table C. Vale finished ahead of Brazil's Pedro Veniss with Gershwin Dromelle (Diamant de Semilly x Limbo), who placed second in 89.89, while Great Britain's Harry Charles on Bandit (Obos Quality x Cruisings Micky Finn), took the third spot in 90.52 seconds. Ben Maher (GBR) aboard Ginger-Blue (Plot Blue x Royal Bravour) finished fourth, followed by Kevin Staut (FRA) and Croqsel de Blaignac (Ugano Sitte x Rubynea) in fifth.
