Germany’s Marcus Ehning and the 13-year-old gelding Coolio 42 (Casalito x Quidam de Revel) won Sunday’s CSIO5* 1.60m Longines Grand Prix of Switzerland, the highlight of the 2026-edition of Longines CSIO St. Gallen.
The twelve best horse-and-rider combinations from the 50 at start in the first round continued to round two, where Ehning and Coolio 42 clocked the winning time of 46.08 seconds. Austria’s Katharina Rhomberg and Colestus Cambridge (Colestus x Cambridge) took the runner-up spot in 46.83 seconds, while Pia Reich (GER) on PB Löwenherz (Levisto x Contender) completed the podium in third with a time of 50.80 seconds.
Carrying four penalties each, Kevin Staut (FRA) with Exquis RB (Siwing de Triaval x Quamikase des Forets) and Annelies Vorsselmans (BEL) aboard Trezeguet (Turmalin x Chairman LS La Silla) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
