Ireland’s Bertram Allen and the 13-year-old gelding Pacino Amiro (Pacino x NC Amiro) won Saturday’s CSIO5* 1.50m BIOS-Groep Prize at the 2025-edition of CHIO Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
In a jump-off between ten horse-and-rider combinations, Allen and his Olympic mount Pacino Amiro clocked the winning time of 37.88 seconds – finishing first ahead of their compatriot Tom Wachman (IRL) and the 10-year-old Obora’s Laura (Luidam x Non Stop) who had to settle for the runner-up spot in 38.16.
Edouard Schmitz (SUI) and Quno (Quo Vados x Cash and Carry) completed the podium in third after clocking a time of 38.77 seconds, followed by Petronella Andersson (SWE) and Opaline de W&S (Etoulon x Zirocco Blue VDL) in fourth in 38.87 and Jos Verlooy (BEL) aboard FTS Killossery Konfusion (SIEC Livello x Cruising) in fifth in 39.49.
