Ireland's Billy Twomey and the 18 year old Tinka's Serenade (Tinka's Boy x African Drum) were on top form in Gijon on Thursday taking the win in the 1.60 feature class. Twomey was one of eleven combinations who made it to the jump-off in the Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa de Asturias, where he produced one of the seven additional clear rounds stopping the clock on 39.68 seconds.
Abdullah Alshartbatly and Domingo (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Brownboy) ended second with a time of 40.05 in the jump-off, while Laura Renwick continued to pick up ranking points - this time finishing third on Bintang II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando). Dermott Lennon finished fourth and Henk van de Pol fifth.
