The victory in Saturday's CSIO4* 1.50m Prize of Ergo Hestia, under the patronage of Prestiz Magazine, in Sopot, Poland, went to Australia's Christopher Burton and Jacksonville Eurohill (Emerald x Carambole).
Stopping the clock on 38.24 in a jump-off of seven, the Australian rider took the win ahead of Brazil's Mariana Frauches Chaves and Obi van Klapscheut (Cooper vd Heffinck x Numero Uno) in second in 42.77 and New Zealand's Josh Collins aboard Cornel (Corlensky G x Beethowen) in third in 47.61 – besting a field of 68 horse-and-rider combinations in total.
Andres Vereecke (BEL) and Perle d'Or van de Gaverstede (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Equistro van de Mispelaere) finished fourth with four faults in 40.32, while four faults in 40.38 left Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski (POL) and Komboy (Carrera VDL x Jacorde) to fifth.
