It was the 22-year-old Dutch rider Sanne Thijssen and Con Quidam RB that brough the win home to the hosts in Sunday’s CSIO5* Longines Grand Prix of Rotterdam. For many riders, this was the last chance to impress selectors ahead of the Olympic Games – so the pressure was on. However, Thijssen showed no nerves as she went in as first to go and blasted around the jump-off track with a round that no one could match.
