Gregory Cottard (FRA) and the 10-year-old Cocaine du Val (Mylord Carthago x Si Tu Viens) won Thursday's CSIO5* 1.50m Prize of Biotaniqe in Sopot, a Grand Prix qualifier also counting for the Longines Ranking.
With a time of 60.45 seconds, Cottard was the fastest in the class – where no less than 24 out of 51 horse-and-rider combinations delivered clear rounds. Tobias Meyer (GER) and Casablanca-H (Conteur x Landor S) finished as runners-up in a time of 61.68 seconds, while Douglas Lindelöw (SWE) and Casemiro CC (Cachas x Contender) took the third place after stopping the clock at 62.23. Megane Moissonnier (FRA) finished fourth with Bracadabra (Pacific des Essarts x Couleur Rubin), and Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) fifth with Chesmu KJ (Cornet Obolensky x Calido I).
