At CSIO5* St. Gallen, Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) won the first 1.50m class of the day – Prize MS Direct AG – when delivering a double clear in 40.58 seconds with Alanine de Vains (Allegreto x Adelfos). Guy Williams (GBR) followed in runner-up position after stopping the clock over the shortened course in 41.74 seconds riding Rouge de Ravel (Ultimo van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge).
Third place went to Janika Sprunger (SUI) with King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo) after crossing the finish line in 47.76 seconds. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) with Koddac van het Indihof (Copperfield von der Held 2106 x Toulon) had to see a pole fall in the jump-off – as did Penelope Leprevost (FRA) with Cartino 10 (Carrico x Contact Me) – and they had to settle for fourth and fifth place.
Later in the day, Pius Schwizer (SUI) and Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Couleur-Rubin) topped the 1.50m Land Rover Speed and Handiness class. Second place went to William Funnell (GBR) with Billy McCain (Cevin Z x Cruising) followed by Alain Jufer (SUI) with Cytise de la Fontaine (Calvaro x Bayard d’Elle*Ecolit), Pedro Veniss (BRA) with Anaya Ste Hermelle (Andiamo x Paladin Des Ifs) and Niklaus Rutschi (SUI) with Baloubelle CH (Baloubet du Rouet x Wandango).
