Saturday night in Rabat, and Switzerland's Pius Schwizer demonstrated once more that he is an excellent rider – showing an unbeatable speed. After their victory in the Nations Cup on Friday and Tetouan’s Grand Prix for Nadja Peter Steiner, the Swiss team confirmed its supremacy in Morocco by signing the win in the Prix Qatar with a winning-round – the highlight of the CSIO3* Rabat's third day.

There were 35 riders on the starting list, with thirteen moving on to the winning round. Pius Schwizer signed the first clear round of the night, also the fastest one, securing him the advantage to go last in the second round. This opportunity gave him the time to watch his opponents, coach his wife Florence (who ended 8th with a double clear), then get back smoothly in the saddle, enter the ring and … go for it! Four seconds ahead his fellow rider Nadja Peter Steiner on Celeste 24 (Casall x Landgraf I), Schwizer took the win.

Schwizer enjoyed his round with Leonard de la Ferme (Landjuweel x Indigene de Corday): “This horse is capable of pretty much anything. Always fast! Once in a while I can jump top classes, but when I jump speed class like tonight I usually win. I can always count on him and he can give me back everything," commented Pius.

Competition is far from over for the Swiss rider: His main objective is to win the prestigious Grand Prix of Rabat this year again.
