Germany's Richard Vogel and the 14-year-old Evermeta (Mr Blue x Nimmerdor) won Friday's Agria Royal International Stakes at the CSIO5* Longines Royal International Horse Show 2023 at Hickstead, Great Britain.

With a time of 61.12, Vogel and Evermeta were the quickest horse-and-rider-combination in the 1.45m Table A against the clock – snatching the win from the hosts as Matthew Sampson (GBR) and Fabrice DN (Gelha's VDL Emilion x Baloubet du Rouet) finished second in 65.51. Joseph Stockdale (GBR) and Equine Rescue Services Kandleford (Kannan x Pythagoras) placed third in 66.22, while Alessandra Volpi (USA) and Gracieux du Pachis (Tinka's Boy x Caretino) finished fourth in 67.16 followed by Jörne Sprehe (GER) in fifth in 67.45 aboard Hickstead White (Hickstead x Coupe de Couer 2).
