It was the Italian junior team that was the best at today's European Championships in Samorin, clinching the gold medal.

Giacomo Casadei with Flickfox (Polyfox x Mipaaf), Ignazio Uboldi with Dakata vd Knuffel (President x Skippy II), Neri Pieraccini with Sorpresa della Favorita (Mr. Blue x Narcos II) and Francesco Correddu with Necofix (Eco del Castegno x Avenir) made it to the top of the podium after ending the two 1.40 rounds with only four faults in total.

The silver medal went to Great Britain that apart from the four faults in the second round had two time penalties in the first round, finishing on a score of six overall. In the team was Robert Murphy with Del Fuego (Murano x Amulet), Scarlett Charles with Sacree du Rouet (Eclair des Bois x Rebel Z), Jack Whitaker with Street Hassle (Quick Star x Laudanum) and Harry Charles with Vivaldi du Dom (Casall x Veneur du Prelet).

Germany ended the two rounds with 14 faults, 13 of them came in the first round, and took the bronze medal. All the riders – Beeke Carstensen with Venetzia (Levisto x Capitol I), Max Haunhorst with Crueger (Converter x Kolibri), Laura Hetzel with Quanita (Quidam’s Rubin x Sandro) and Hannes Ahlmann with Sunsalve (Singulord Joter x Concerto II) – really stepped it up in the second round after being in 10th position after the first round.
