As last to go, Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) snatched the win from Pius Schwizer (SUI) in Saturday afternoon’s Van Schijndel Bouwgroep Indoor Derby at The Dutch Masters. Riding Carlotta (Chaccomo x Cento), Gaudiano shaved off three seconds on Schwizer’s time in this audience-friendly and entertaining competition. Third was Bertram Allen (IRL), who had to add three seconds to his time due to a pole down. Home heroes Piet Raijmakers Jr. (NED) and Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
