Malin Baryard-Johnsson and H&M Indiana win the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix presented by Longines in Doha

Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE) and the 17-year-old mare H&M Indiana (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Animo’s Hallo) won Saturday’s CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix presented by Longines – a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group AA – at the 2025-edition of CHI Al Shaqab presented by Longines in Doha, Qatar.

Fourteen from the 50 horse-and-rider combinations at start cleared the first-round track and joined the deciding jump-off, where the Swedish duo that claimed Olympic team gold in Tokyo in 2021 clocked the winning time of 35.21.

Janne F. Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) and Messi van’T Ruytershof (Plot Blue x For Pleasure) took the runner-up spot in 35.89, while Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Chalou’s Love PS (Diablo Blanco x Conterno-Grande) completed the podium in third in 36.19. France’s 2024 Olympic team bronze medalist Olivier Perreau and GL Events Dorai d’Aiguilly (Kannan x Toulon) finished fourth in 36.25, followed by Andreas Schou (DEN) and Napoli vh Nederassenthof (President x Quasimodo Z) in fifth in 37.27.
